Debbi does not run a warehouse. She goes out, she looks, and she brings back the handful of things worth bringing back. A lustre coffee service with cranes painted right around it. A glass dish with a fisherman worked inside the glass. A pot signed on the base by the person who built it.
She photographs everything herself, most of it on the same charcoal cloth on her own table, so you are seeing the object and not a set. What is written under each lot is what the photograph shows. Where a piece carries a signature or a backstamp, the mark is there in a second photograph for you to read yourself. Where the light in a photograph flatters something, the entry says so.
Ask her anything about a piece before you commit. Measurements, weight, the exact wording of a mark, more photographs in daylight. She would rather answer ten questions than have something come back.
How To Buy
Ask, Agree, Then It Ships
There is no cart here on purpose. With one of each, a cart lets two people buy the same piece thirty seconds apart. So you ask Debbi first and she confirms it is still yours.
Ask About The Piece
Open any lot and use the button. It writes an email to Debbi with the lot number already in the subject line, so nothing gets confused between two similar pieces.
She Answers You Directly
Price, measurements, condition in her own words, and more photographs if you want them. No account, no newsletter, no middle man. Just Debbi.
Agree And It Is Held
Once you agree on price and shipping, the lot is marked reserved and taken off the catalogue. Payment and delivery are arranged between the two of you.
A note on descriptions. Each entry says what is visible in the photograph. Where a base carries a signature or a backstamp, the wording is quoted and the base is photographed, but nothing on this page is offered as a verified attribution, a date or a valuation. Two lots were photographed under a display blacklight and say so on the entry, because the colour you see there is the lamp and not the stone. Ask Debbi and she will tell you exactly what she knows and exactly what she does not.
